I Dream in Steampunk

Or at least, alternate-reality, sci-fi, ninja Steampunk.

In the dream, the main characters are a pack of young teens. I say pack because initially there were 2 and that grew to 6 once we got on the roller coaster (which was way cool futuristic type). The roller coaster was the only way into the amusement park and the hotel we were going to stay at. But, before we could go anywhere we spotted a very rich man shopping with a scantily clad, buxom woman. We knew the man, or at least of him, and he had a young daughter who was missing. But he didn't seem to concerned about that, and one of us girls couldn't keep it to herself. She called him despicable.

Well, his bodyguard took exception. Suddenly he had a pack of friends. The rich guy left, so he wouldn't be part of the situation. The ninja group was defeated, but they killed one of our own.

The next day we had to return to the scene in order to get our money back for the roller coaster ride we never took. The group was there, too, and the air was thick with tension--like a fight would break out if anyone stepped wrong or said just the wrong thing. As it turned out, we let it slip that our dead friend has a girlfriend, Camille, and suddenly she became a target.

The story could really happen in any background. I'm going to have to look into this further. You know, when I have the time. (lol)

That sounds great.

I had a Steampunk-style dream the other day...and that's all I can remember. It was still in my head when I awoke, but I couldn't get past children fast enough before they'd driven the idea from my head. Still hoping it comes back to me, because I remember it being epic.

Good luck with it!

It's cool that you can remember your dreams. I tend to forget the nice ones that I wish I could hold onto and remember only the nightmares--usually when I dream of my kids in danger. Bleh. Steampunk is way more fun.
